jakoblodwick:  Interest in the Founding Fathers seems to be skyrocketing lately. I have not heard much legitimate talk of a revolution, but it seems to be bubbling under the surface.  I think what’s even more important than renewed interest in what our founders intended this country to be before it was cronied and swindled into a money-sucking machine, is a re-evaluation of the leaders that history glorifies to near-diety status. What’s interesting to me, is that Lincoln, sadly, added more to the downfall of America than GWB. Or, in the very least, enabled the current abuses of power we face today through massive centralization.
