Today I’m quitting Google

4 and a half years (sheesh) from my first day at Next New, today I take a bow and venture off on my own.

I’ve learned a heck of a lot, met incredible people that have inspired me, and travelled the world - but it’s time to move on. If you were one of these people, thank you.

We’ve come a long way in that time, and I can only imagine how far we will have all come 4 and a half years from today. LA people: I can’t wait to be creative with you and make all kinds of awesome stuff. NYC people: Let’s collab before we head west!

Quitting one of the best companies in the world makes no sense to normal people, but if the choice is “employee” or “filmmaker,” I choose filmmaker. Doesn’t matter if it’s Google or a gas station. My goal is clear.
