Yes, our apartment was robbed. Someone broke the bathroom window, climbed in, stole our laptops, and exited through the backdoor.

They could have taken the television, video game system, and my monitor, but didn’t. They could have left the door open and our kitten could have run away, but they didn’t, and he didn’t. The police, detectives, and insurance people have thus far all been very friendly, and very smitten with Mr. Hammers.

Live in New York long enough and this is going to happen sometime. Elaine and I mostly feel fundamentally blessed that it was as easy as this.

This is one of my worst nightmares. It’s one thing to have someone steal your things and violate you in that way, it’s an entirely different thing if you lose your pet, or your pet comes to harm in such an incident.

I’m so glad we live in a fifth floor walk-up, because if Gemma ever got out of the apartment, she’d have a hell of a time figuring out how to navigate the endless stairs to actually escape.

So, yeah, I’m glad it turned out like it did, Sam.

Robert De Niro Back in Time 2: Hide and Seek.

I think the action-packed second installment has some of the most fun moments in the series. The monologue still kills me every time. Enjoy and rate it if you’d like!!!

I agree with Vince and thoroughly enjoyed this. Especially Anne’s wig nearly taking a dive.

Someone, please, talk me out of this idea. Or into it.

do it and i whup the fuckin’ tar outta yr ass.

the excellent thing about twitter is that you can avoid that annoyance he mentioned, and not have mobile alerts on, and instead choose to check twitter online whenever you please.

So, I’ve decided to give it a trial run. I think that a service like this can be useful for a specific thing, and that thing only. For instance, I use Tumblr to see entertaining things from friends, I use Facebook very very rarely now but it’s an awesome tool for setting up events and parties. The one thing I’d like out of Twitter is to give me a better idea, in real-time, of what my friends are up to as far as events on the weekend or week nights.

I don’t want to follow or be followed people that aren’t in the NYC area and that I don’t hang out with otherwise.

If it can serve that one, simple purpose well, then I’ll continue to use it.

As for posting a bunch of annoying shit, forget that. I’ll update it with what I’m up to if I want other people to join me, but otherwise it will be ignored.

And it will certainly stay the fuck away from my Tumblr feed.

The term MOS originated with German director Eric von Stroheim, who would tell his crew, “Ve’ll shoot dis mid out sound”. Thus, MOS stands for “mid out sound.

I always thought it was “Minus Optical Strip”?

I don’t want to hear another conservative bitch about our education system when they’re financing 720 million dollars a day for the Iraq War. I don’t want to hear another conservative bitch about our falling economy when they’re financing 720 million dollars a day for the Iraq War. Enough is enough. There couldn’t be a larger contradiction than that. You can’t eat your cake and have it too.

Scud Vlog #13 - Edited by me. www.robschrab.com

I find this enjoyable. I love seeing the more personal side of ‘celebrities,’ especially at an event like this. What an approachable, kind sort of dude Schrab comes across as.

Hahahaha, my video on Fox News, wtffffff.
Viral sharing of this video: Spreading across the interweb like Wildfire!

So, it looks like my “Hillary WASN’T LYING!” video is hitting the big time. I just got word it played on Fox News, it was mentioned in the LA Times blog, made the frontpage of Digg with over 4200 diggs, front page of Break, front page of Wonkette, and 555,000 views on Youtube last they updated. Pretty exciting, mostly because it seems to be getting TV play, which was a long-term goal of mine in general. If it hits over a million I’ll be quite proud.

Good work for an afternoon.

I’m obsessed with this director. He makes the most kickass movies to intellectual properties that he doesn’t have the rights too, but that doesn’t stop him from making really high budget fight scenes with your favorie characters.

In This Film Batman Fights the Joker, Alien and Predator…So Cool and yes, I’m a Big Nerd!

Wow, this is inspirational. I’d love to interview this director.! It is sort of sad, though, in the same way that movies created with copyright music are kind of fucked from maturing beyond distribution on the ‘net.
