Can't take em out
It’s been almost 2 weeks since my eye surgery, and I still think “better take my contacts out” every night. So odd to get something done that just reverts you to being normal.

“Stormtroopers’ 9/11.” Written by me and Dan, directed by me, performed by me, Josh, Rocco Chierichella, and Vince. Digg it.
It’s always scary taking on a controversial topic, but we were confident in this idea. The only thing offensive about it is that it’s a comedy sketch about 9/11. It doesn’t make fun of anyone. It’s merely an analogy. You have to think: we’re on the internet and don’t answer to a network. It’s sort of our responsibility to produce the sketches that other people can’t.
Special kudos to Ben for producing this in a week.
I will log into Digg for the first time in months to digg this. Fantastic, just pitch perfect for a topic like this. Comedy needs to be edgy for it to be effective.
Doug cuts a real dashing figure (from my upcoming 99 dollar music video)
Please?Note from Ron: 3. Dems, Reps, and people that think both are stupid. (The 3rd group is aware that the current U.S. is in a perpetual state of half hating the other half no matter who is in charge. The first 2 really can’t comprehend that.)
Haha —- okay, I’m good with that.
This week’s Odwick.com video: “Clean Machine”.
Watch on Vimeo or download hi-quality Quicktime.
Most of the music I’ve made for Odwick has been created in one session. I would sit down and jam on a synthesizer, or make a beat and freestyle over it. The track in this video was an evolution for me. I started with a beat + freestyle, but then worked on the track in at least ten more sessions, bringing in a guest vocalist, revising the lyrics, speeding it up (originally it was 23 BPM slower), and acquiring a better microphone. It gives me confidence that I will see future musical ideas to fruition. It was also a relatively big production for me; there was a location, director of photography, two dancers, plus I was performing. In general I have trouble relying on people, or, to be clear, of getting into situations where the project’s success is dependent on someone else, so that was an evolution, as well. Also it was the first time I wore a shirt.
Just one more video and this season is finished. I think I’m going to take a break and travel for a while (as one normally does after college or after getting fired from the Internet company he worked at from age 18-26), and see how I feel. At the moment I think, “There must and will be Odwick Season Two!”, but it’s not fair, to myself, to commit to that now; season one must be firmly in my past before I think about reiteration.
Holy Shit! This app is a must have!
Buyer beware - as awesome as this app MAY SEEM it really really sucks. You can’t output your live jams to a speaker while you record, wtf ???
