Augustus won over the soldiers with gifts, the populace with cheap corn, and all men with the sweets of repose, and so grew greater by degrees

Cheap corn … a great way to sway the people … even in Roman times!

Dear Justin J. and Marissa N.
You are probably the coolest people I have ever known. Thanks for making the weekend in NYC a great weekend. I drew a picture and left it on your fridge for you to remember me forever.

I don’t mean to be overly snarky. I know deadlines are tough, and I know what it feels like to be racing to get something done on time. But watching down your work before turning it in to a client (or posting it on the Internet) is NEVER a waste of time. I’d rather be 30 minutes late on a deadline than present something that has silly mistakes in it.
But you’re not alone Beyond The Trailer, I saw (and there’s proof of it somewhere on Tumblr) a local cable ad for a plumber in Los Angeles (media capital of the world, so in theory having the most professional people working, right??) that had a media offline screen that WENT TO AIR and stayed on air over span of months. Apparently Time Warner Cable can’t even stand to watch their own programming.

My friend’s reel had a media offline screen on it. Uber-sighhhhhh.
